Youth Ministry

St. Matthias Youth Ministry is an incredible opportunity for the youth of our parish community to discover how Catholic faith speaks to their lives by inviting them into meaningful relationships and exciting experiences. Through a variety of events, high school and junior high school youth have the chance to build a stronger relationship with God, make new friends and reconnect with old ones, and discover what it means to live as a person of faith.

The Youth Ministry Coordinators always plan an exciting year with lots of fun social, stewardship and spiritual activities. All youth in grades 7 & 8 and grades 9-12 are welcome to participate. Membership in St. Matthias Youth Ministry allows our youth and their friends to be part of something really cool. Some activities are just for high school aged youth and some are geared for the middle aged youth. There are Thursday Night Live (TNL) sessions for the high school youth and Tuesday Night sessions with the junior high group. Check the bulletin for specific dates. Service projects are also part of youth activities.

Parents and adults are encouraged to attend as well for there are many opportunities for them to lend a helping hand from chaperoning, driving, cooking supporting, sharing or just plain hanging out.
