Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA provides an atmosphere of prayer, support and sharing on the journey toward initiation for those seeking membership in the Catholic Church and for those seeking full communion with the Catholic Church. This process is also adapted for children and teens who are seeking membership in the Catholic Church. Groups meet on Sunday mornings, and we gather for the Liturgy of the Word with the community at the 10:30 Mass. After the homily, catechumens, candidates, sponsors and catechists are sent forth by the community to break open the Word and reflect on Catholic teachings.

RCIA Hospitality

This group provides breakfast refreshments every Sunday for those in the RCIA process. Volunteers set the table in the dePorres Room on the lower level of the Parish Office between 7:45 - 8:00- AM

Re-Membering Sessions

The sessions are held three or four times a year. Those who have been away from the Church for a while are invited back to come and ask questions, share their stories, and learn about current church thought.

Welcome Inquirers

Inquiry is a time of hospitality when our worship community extends a welcome to those who wish to know more about the Catholic faith. This is a time when questions about the faith are answered and the Gospel message is shared with the inquirers. The group meets on every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, from 7:30 to 8:45 PM.

Welcome Neighbors

This group tries to locate new people in our neighborhoods and match them to someone in our faith community who lives on the same street. Visiting and extending a warm welcome to new people and letting new people to the area know about our Catholic Community is the goal.

Welcome Gatherings

The Welcome Committee is a vibrant group of parishioners who plan a social event a few times a year to welcome new parishioners. This is an opportunity for the new families to connect with long time parishioners, to share and get a sense of who we are as a faith community.
