What to Consider

What to Consider:

Only you can decide what is best for you and your family. Our hope is that your financial stewardship commitment will be at a level you can afford, but one that is also Biblical.

Is my giving sacrificial?

Luke 21:2-3
And He noticed a poor widow putting in two small copper coins. And He said, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the rest.”

Is my giving proportional to my income?

1 Corinthians 16:2
On the first day of every week each one of you should set aside and save, as he may prosper, so that collections will not be going on when I come.

Is my giving a tithe of my first fruits?

Malachi 3:10
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, and see if I will not open for you the floodgates of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

Is my giving intentional? Is it regular? Is it cheerful?

2 Corinthians 9:7
Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
